Laundry room: Reservation and instructions

Reservation of washing machines is done through the One4all Mobile resident application. It is available on the App Store or Play Store or can be accessed via the browser at https://mobile.o4a.fi/.

You log in to the service with the email address you provided to us when signing the lease agreement.

From May 13, 2024 onwards you can only reserve washing mashines via application/online.

You will receive a One4All email message when your service lease agreement begins.

LAUNDRY ROOM INSTRUCTIONS

  • The laundry room and drying room is available for usage from 7am to 10pm. At other times, washing machines and the drying room fan must not be used.
  • Reservations are made in advance through the One4All Mobile resident application
  • You can reserve a maximum of two hours of laundry time at a time.
  • Do not wash laundry during another resident’s reserved time.
  • Remember to cancel your reservation if you are unable to use your time slot.
  • Remove your laundry from the machine before the next washing time starts. Do not leave clothes or detergents in the laundry room.
  • If you are using drying room, collect your dry laundry from the room latest next day. Note that the drying room is for all residents of the building, so please allow your neighbors the opportunity to use it as well.
  • It is strictly forbidden to wash carpets in the machine.
  • Clean up after yourself and the machines after use.
  • Inform the area janitor about any problems immediately.

DRYING ROOM INSTRUCTIONS

  • The drying room is available for usage from 7am to 10pm. At other times, the drying room dryer must not be used.
  • If necessary, you can clean the filter nets on the sides and lid of the machine with a light brush.
  • Hang your laundry on the clothesline as evenly as possible. Place the thickest fabrics in the middle of the room, in front of the machine.
  • Make sure the safety switch is on/ON.
  • Choose your drying time by rotating the timer on the clockwise (0…4…6 h)/ press the start button of the dryer.
  • Do not cover the machine.
  • Do not hang laundry on the machine or immediately next to the front or the sides of the machine, as blocking the airflow may cause a fire hazard.
  • One full wash, roughly seven kilos of cotton laundry, will have dried to at least a mangle-suitable dryness within one hour in normal conditions.
  • However, the drying time depends a great deal on the amount, makeup and residual moisture of the laundry as well as the room’s base temperature.
  • You can extend the drying time by rotating the timer clockwise.
  • Collect your dry laundry from the room latest next day. Note that the drying room is for all residents of the building, so please allow your neighbors the opportunity to use it as well.
  • The doors and windows of the drying room should be kept closed during drying.
  • Once the timer has ended, the dryer will stop automatically. Remember to close the drying room door and turn off the lights on your way out.

Safety instructions and warnings

  • The machine’s air intake and outlet must always be kept clear.
  • Do not wash the machine with running water.
  • If you notice any faults, report them to your property manager or real estate service, and stop using the dryer immediately.
  • According to regulations, dryers may only be installed, maintained and repaired by qualified electricians or cold work professionals.
  • Do not allow children access to the dryer while it is running, and do not leave children unsupervised in the drying room.
  • In case of fire, the dryer may be extinguished with an extinguisher that is suitable for electrical fires.
