CHECKING THE APARTMENT IN ADVANCE
If you wish to check the reserved apartment before you sign the rental agreement contact your area janitor. You may find the contact information of the janitors from here.
Apartments are able to be checked with the janitor between Monday-Friday from 9.00am to 4.00pm.
RECEIVING THE APARTMENT KEY
A new tenant will receive the key from the area janitor at the apartment. You will need to contact the area janitor about a week before and agree on a date for the hand over. Generally, keys are handed over at the earliest from 12 noon on the start date of the lease, only on weekdays. Mon-Thu between 7am and 4pm, Fri 7am – 2.15pm.
If the tenancy period begins during the weekend or on a public holiday, you can get the key on the following business day.
A new tenant must be prepared to prove his/her identity with a photo (passport or identity card).
MOVE-IN REPORT
A new tenant will fill in Move-in report on the moving day with the janitor. By filling in Move-in inspection form a new tenant accepts condition of the apartment. In all questions of moving contact the MOAS office beforehand.
HOME INSURANCE
Remember to see to that you have a home insurance on your own. The company has an insurance for the estate itself but that insurance does not cover any damages that might be caused to your personal belongings nor the other indirect damages caused by tenants’ carelessness.
ELECTRICITY
All our furnished apartments, shared and single ones, include automatically the electricity. If electricity is not mentioned in the rental agreement you should make electricity contract by yourself in advance. Contact electricity providers, and make an electricity contract before moving into your rental apartment. An electricity contract is easy to make online in just a few minutes. Prices vary somewhat, so you can compare offers and choose the service provider that suits you best.
